How PadelMates works.
Our WhatsApp community runs on structure, respect, and reliability. Here is everything you need to know to get the most out of it.
Community rules
Simple rules that keep the community healthy and enjoyable for everyone.
Be respectful
Treat every player with respect regardless of level, background, or nationality. This is a community of equals. Zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or personal attacks.
Show up when you commit
If you confirm a match or event, be there. No-shows hurt everyone. If something comes up, cancel at least 4 hours in advance. Your reliability score matters.
Use the right channels
Post in the correct group: Find a Match for matchmaking, Introductions for new member posts, Events for event-related discussions. Keep Announcements for admin only.
No spam, no self-promotion
Do not use the community for unsolicited promotions, sales, or advertising. Partners and coaches have dedicated channels. Violations result in warnings and removal.
Find a Match format
Copy and paste this format when posting in the Find a Match channel. Structured posts get faster responses.

Reliability and no-show policy
Trust is the foundation of our community. We take reliability seriously.
How the reputation system works
Every member builds a reliability profile over time. When you confirm a match and show up, your score improves. When you no-show without notice, it goes down.
Reliability scores are visible to other players on the portal. High-reliability players get priority access to popular events and featured placement in matchmaking.
No-show consequences
- 1st no-show:Friendly reminder. We understand things happen.
- 2nd no-show:Official warning. Your reliability score drops visibly.
- 3rd no-show:Temporary restriction from community events (7 days). Must acknowledge and recommit before being reinstated.
Event deposits
For organised events and tournaments, a small refundable deposit may be collected at signup and fully returned when you attend. If you no-show without cancelling at least 4 hours in advance, the deposit is forfeited and used to offset the venue cost for other players. The rule protects everyone who did show up.
